2012: NASA Moon Photo With Flag Standing Seems Wrong

Posted in 2012 Mayan, Astronomy with tags , , , on Monday, July 30, 2012 by The Pakalian Group of Mexico

Our Mayan astronomers have discovered a strange anomaly in this NASA photo, taken recently by Lunar Reconnaisance Orbiter Camera (LROC). We don’t have an explanation for this as it seems a badly digitized image.

In the photo, all the shadows of the lunar surface point to the right, while the shadow direction where the American flags are standing point to the left. Is this correct?

NASA’s explanation said, “Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera images of each Apollo site taken at roughly the same orientation (i.e. spacecraft-to-lunar surface site angle) but with different Sun angles to show the travel of shadows.”

Wouldn’t the shadows travel together in the same direction as the camera takes different angles? It seems like a bad composite image to us. You can be the judge.

2012: New Spectacular Mayan Temple of the Night Sun Discovered In Guatemala

Posted in 2012 Mayan, New Mesoamerican Mythology with tags , , , on Friday, July 20, 2012 by The Pakalian Group of Mexico

A team of archaeologists have uncovered a pyramid at the El Zotz site in Guatemala. It is ornate and topped by a series of masks showing different phases of the sun. Ornate stucco is painted inside and out. It is called the Temple of the Night Sun and is dated to 350-400 CE. Work on uncovering the pyramid began in 2009. 70% of the temple has still to be uncovered.

It will be difficult work uncovering the rest of it since the Maya built new layers on top of old ones. El Zotz has one of the few carved wooden lintels with hieroglyphics to have survived the centuries. The temple was painted a deep red and would have been brightest during the rising and setting of the sun. The masks are celestial beings. They depict the sun as it moves from east to west. Jeweled bands represent Venus and other planets. The Maya lord who presided would have been linked to the sun and the sun god. The Maya deliberately mutilated the masks to deactivate the gods represented.

King Pakal’s Death Ceremony – Preparing For The Inevitable

Posted in 2012 Mayan, 2012 Prophecy, New Mesoamerican Mythology with tags , , , on Friday, July 13, 2012 by The Pakalian Group of Mexico

This article is from Lord Pakal Ahau’s Trilogy website and it is probably the most beautiful narrative written by Lord Pakal Ahau about his ancestor and reincarnation.

On August 31, 683 A.D., 6 Edznab 11 Yax in the Mayan calendar, the sacred light that illuminated Palenque for several decades was extinguished. A new cycle would start from Pakal’s death. Also known as Lord Pakal The Great, whose birthday was made to coincide with the inscriptions of the First Mother, the goddess Zac K’uk or Garza Blanca, name that also had the sovereign’s mother.

His birthday, March 23, 603 A.D., 8 Ahau 13 Pop, linked his origin to the Gods, confirming his sacred character and destiny of becoming the wisest ruler of Palenque. Eleven years before his death, her wife Ahpo Hel, would descend into the Kingdom of the Shadows, leaving Pakal in a painful loneliness.

During the precise moment of his death, in the Royal bedroom of the Palace, the priests put on his mouth a beaded piece of jade that received his vital breath. Later, they spread maize dust, the sacred substance for which men are made, and then, proceeded to enshroud the body with cotton clothes. On his side, they deposited pots with water and food as well as protecting amulets.

After the normal ritual held for three days (the waiting), speaking to him so he would not feel lonely, taking care of his shadow and praying to the gods to maintain his life with the Spirit while he continued his road to Xibalba, his sons Chan-Bahlum and Kan Xul and their wives and grandsons gave the signal to prepare the most splendid funeral that Mayan eyes have ever seen. Through the ceremony, the survivors would add their contribution to help the spirit of the beloved Lord during his dangerous walk down to Xibalba, “the place where the souls vanish.” There, he would face Ah Puch, the Dark Master God, for the first time, to later die definitely, meaning transforming his death into pure energy and positioning himself in the cold and dark subterranean Kingdom.

Pakal would go to Xibalba first because he died of natural causes, although due to his sacred condition, he would be allowed to ascend to the Earth level again or higher in some ocassions. Others would go to the Paradise of the Ceiba Tree, if they were sacrificed to the gods or were women who died while birthing children to live in company with the Sun in its daily run. The destiny place how Death find humans always depends on the manner of dying, and not on the behavior of their corporeal human existence. The moral mistakes are punished in life, usually with some kind of disease and critical pain. Humans still do not understand this concept of Mayan purification.

Years before, Pakal had ordered his tomb as a pyramid of nine levels. On the top, he erected a temple in which the history of his lineage and legacy was written describing the Great Shaman that would be converted into another God. In his honor, his sarcophagus was deposited at the bottom of the inverse pyramid representing Xibalba, the nine level. His spirit would ascend through a narrow channel in the shape of a serpent connecting the funerary chamber with the Temple. On a beautiful stone that would be deposited on top of the sarcophagus, Pakal ordered to carve the great cosmic image that would define his position in the center of the world as a ruler and human being. The meaning of this magical and powerful stone has been written in another article of the website (Pakal’s Hidden Secrets).

The solemn court left the Palace carrying the mortal body of Pakal. Four men holding torches initiated the Funeral March, and on the top of the pyramid they burned copal wood, an aromatic incense. Behind Pakal’s body, the Great Lord Snake, the highest priest, was followed by the 36 Priests of the Solar Ritual and the family of Pakal, while the people watched the Walk of the Five Men and One Woman, to the top of the pyramid, escorted by Mayan guards. These outlaws were selected by the High Mayan Supreme Tribune to exemplify human faults (Greed, Destruction, Anger, Hate, Envy and Viciousness). They would be sacrificed at the entrance of the chamber, each one representing a moral human imperfection waiting to be cleansed, in order to accompany Lord Pakal.

To end the Funeral, his people remained during the night singing and praying to the gods until Venus dissapeared from the horizon while crossing the Sun. In 1952, a man that knew how to respect and love the Mayans, Dr. Alberto Ruz Lhuillier, would discover his tomb giving to Pakal the start of his new cycle: his immortality also in this world and the fulfillment of the Great Mayan Prophecy after 1269 years of silence, making possible the reincarnation as Lord Pakal Ahau on August 22, 1952 and the return of the Mayan King.. Thus, Pakal Ahau becomes the last Pakal of the Great Mayan Prophecy to be the time witness on December 21, 2012.

2012: Mayan Venus Transits – The Demons War

Posted in 2012 Mayan, 2012 Prophecy, New Mesoamerican Mythology with tags , , , on Saturday, June 2, 2012 by The Pakalian Group of Mexico

Although archaeologists have described the Mayan Wars with the alluring name of Star Wars, Lord Pakal Ahau explains that these wars were known as The Demons War.

In Mayan times, most cities were ruled by planetary gods and their Kings believed that it was necessary to fight and conquer cities under certain astronomical conditions such as the case of the violent wars between Dos Pilas and Calakmul, two Mayan superpowers in which one dynasty attacked the other to secure regional hegemony during a Venus transit. Dos Pilas became the first great city to be abandoned, where the Classic Maya Collapse started.

Maybe our human consciousness continues to persist with that Mayan legacy of resources competition and the Venus Transit of 2012 is another Demons War in the making of supremacy powers.

NOTES FROM THE EDITOR: When Lord Pakal Ahau gave us the example of the Demons War at Calakmul, we have no idea of what was in his mind as the man reserves all the enigmas for himself.

In April and May of this year the remains of an important hieroglyphic stairway were discovered at Structure 13R-10 at La Corona, Guatemala, during excavations undertaken by the Proyecto Regional Arqueológico La Corona, directed by Marcello Canuto (Tulane University) and Tomás Barrientos Quezada (Universided del Valle de Guatemala).

The curious reference to the upcoming bak’tun ending – something that of course came as a special surprise to Mayan archaeologists  This is the second ancient source known to mention the period ending 4 Ahaw 3 K’ank’in (December 23, 2012).. According to Dr. Stuart, this text would have been a noteworthy find in any year, but its revelation now, just months before December 21, is extraordinary timing indeed.

The main message of the new inscription is not at all about 2012 – rather it’s the commemoration of a visit to La Corona (Saknikte’) by the important Calakmul ruler Yuknoom Yich’aak K’ahk’ on January 29, 696 AD, linking this future 13th bak’tun ending to his contemporary world, mostly because of interesting numerological patterns that seemed cosmically relevant.

More, in one of the passage of the discovered Hieroglyphic Stairway, Dr. Stuart translates the passage, written by the Royal scribe, as:

” i huli ha’i Waxakluhuun Ub’aah Chan Yuknoom Yich’aak K’ahk’ k’uhul Kan ajaw.

“…then it is he who arrives (the 13th Kan Lord), Waxaklahun Ubaah Chan Yuknoom Yich’aak K’ahk’, the holy Kan lord Ahau.”

I showed the translation to Lord Pakal Ahau and he looked at me in silence as he smiled and went to meditate in his room. Holy cow! This man is the perfect pre-sentient reincarnation of what I think about the 13th Kan Lord. Make no mistakes!

For a more rigorous analysis of the La Corona Hieroglyphic Stairway 2, we refer the reader to Dr. Stuart’s blog, in which he discusses his notes.

2012: Where Is The Mayan Tomb of King Kan Balam II?

Posted in 2012 Architecture, 2012 Mayan, New Mesoamerican Mythology with tags , , on Sunday, May 27, 2012 by The Pakalian Group of Mexico

The search for beginnings is always a difficult task in science as we are told in the Prometheus movie (2012).

For example, searching for the Mayan tomb of King Kan Balam II, Pakal’s first son and successor, has always been an intrigue for archaeologists since he was the one who completed his father’s plans in Palenque. To date, no one has found the tomb or remains and it is speculated that he was buried in an underground place.

Lord Pakal Ahau says, “it is difficult to imagine a more important discovery after King Pakal’s tomb, but Kan Balam II deserves the credits for making the most important Palenque buildings. In fact, he was the founder of the Order of Chilam Balam and its Nine Degrees, the secret ancient group of astronomers-priests who made the 2012 Prophecies and was responsible for the creation of my reincarnation plan in 1952”.

Knowing that we made an interesting 3D reconstruction of Kan Balam II’s tomb hoping that one day his secrets will be discovered for the benefits of mankind.
