2012: Hoover Dam – Hopi Design Logo

Now that you have read Lord Pakal Ahau’s amazing research paper about Hoover Dam and 2012, we invite you to participate with our Maya designs.

Our Hoover Dam design is based in a centrifugal theme that adorns the floor of one of the galleries of Hoover Dam, and influenced by the Hopi tribe – one of the Colorado River Indian tribes. And as Lord Pakal Ahau explained in his Hoover Dam research paper the native glyph represents the centrifugal cycle of five ages, which completes 26,000 years of the Maya calendar. An amazing astronomical glyph, which is the central Hoover Dam theme at the main visitors’ entrance as well.

This original high-resolution vector design is available in apparel. To order, click this section of our central store and choose your size shown in several items for women, men or kids. It is a great t-shirt treasure for 2012!

  1. Thank you for this information. I was wondering if there was any connection between the Hoover Dam’s Hopi Logo, and the monument there at the main entrance. You have answered that question. I also found this interesting: A short distance away from the ‘Great Cycle’ portion of the monument (depicting the time of the Egyptian’s Great Pyramid, the time of Christ, and the time Hoover Dam was constructed) there is another circle with the twelve signs of the Zodiac. If the two circles were photographed from above, and superimposed, you would get the complete 26,000 year cycle! It is essentially an American version of the Mayan calendar, courtesy of the Hopi Tribe. The Hopi are truly a great and blessed people!

    • Thank you for your comment. You’re truly correct in the Hoover Dam design influenced by the Hopi. It is basically the same cycle mechanism of the Long Count of the Mayan Calendar. The question is who would be at the Hoover Dam to celebrate the beginning of the New Cycle on December 21, 2012? May the Mayan gods protect you.
