2012: Jesus Statue Struck By Ohio Lightning

An interesting sight worth of a 2012 movie was seen on Monday, June 14 at 11:15 pm when a six-story-tall statue of Jesus Christ with his arms raised along a highway was struck by lightning in a thunderstorm and burned to the ground.

The “King of Kings” statue, one of southwest Ohio’s most familiar landmarks, had stood since 2004 at the evangelical Solid Rock Church along Interstate 75 in Monroe, just north of Cincinnati.

Lord Pakal Ahau did not draw important comments about it but he said the event precedes the Maya June Solstice, which will occur on June 21, 2010 at 11:29 am and he noticed in the right side of the picture the phase of the Moon in First Quarter Ascendant.

NOTES FROM THE EDITOR: The White House Tuesday announced, in the last minute, that President Obama will travel to Ohio on Friday. Specifics of the trip have not been released yet.

Our version of this vanished landmark statue can be ordered in our alternate store, Deadline Designs. Click the red link to choose your apparel in several background colors.
