2012: Big Bang Betelgeuse Supernova – From Alpha Orionis Birth To Omega Terra End
You probably have heard that Earth will have a second sun soon. In reality, astronomers and scientists are waiting for the big bang event, which will make the star of Betelgeuse in the Orion constellation a supernova. And this great spectacle in our Earth’s sky will be around 2012 we hope.
A good article has been recently published here if you want to know more about Betelgeuse but the Internet has a lot of good information about the galactic blast that will happpen this year or in 2012.
Interestingly, the Bible speaks of a star Wormwood as part of the Revelations, “And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.” Revelation 8:10–11.
And now we understand why our Lord Pakal Ahau designed the Pakalian Group of Mexico logo with the Omega symbol in the Chi-Rho Cross. To compliment this event, we have designed a t-shirt to celebrate the Betelgeuse supernova and mark also the End of the Mayan Calendar, of course.
The t-shirt is available in the Watchers section in high-resolution print if you want to get a great Mayan collectible apparel of this important cosmic event.
